G9 Chengdu shines like a jeweled cave within Lane Crawford, China's premier department store. By day, it offers shoppers respite and sustenance; by night, it transforms into a standalone destination restaurant known for G brand's innovative cuisine.
Occupying a compact 183 sqm dogleg space, its smaller end houses the nighttime bar entrance, while concertina industrial glass doors connect the main dining area to the store. The design evokes glamorous mystique using shimmering materials: aged mirror, blackened steel, wire glass, and brass rods creating dynamic moiré effects. Bespoke crystalline acrylic pendant lights, inspired by diamonds, cast a warm, even glow throughout the intimate space.
