A theatrically circuitous route weaves through a four-storey building in Central China.
Our design for a real estate showroom takes customers on a carefully curated journey via stairs and elevators as customers are introduced to a mixed use development project designed by Aeadas; featuring retail, office, live work, serviced apartments and a new residential typology that omits the kitchen in favour of a communal serviced kitchen storey that is aimed at Chinese urbanites who care little for cooking and more for socialising.

The showroom introduces the project in broad citywide terms before zooming in on the details before finally revealing show flats.
A sequence of spaces purposefully mediates the visitor experience, from narrow corridors, darkened soundproof elevators, bright naturally lit spaces and a cascading light installation that connect floors through atria cut in existing floor plates. The curatorial drama is tempered by a controlled palette of natural materials.
