The Miracles of physics visit us each day but mostly go unnoticed.

Our daily hustle is consumed by distractions; we each carry diverted attention that prevents us from looking up and around ourselves.

"Seen Unseen" is an attempt to break the distraction cycle, give pause and manifest the miraculous.

An optical prism is coldly manipulated by precise mechanics; Aluminum hewn from computer numerically controlled machinery, intricate Brass bevel gears milled by high-speed steel, chemically etched printed circuit boards, Electrical transformers, capacitors, resistors and electromagnetic coil motors, computer language drafted in C++ translated to binary code and on into electrical impulses that facilitate the movement of the prism. Each step of the process an epistemic miracle of human technological development. Standing on the shoulders of giants we tinker, and we play to yield light in its most rudimentary form.

By night, electrical current passes through Light Emitting Diodes producing electromagnetic energy whose wavelength lies within the visible spectrum, the light waves enter the optical Silica, Boron Oxide and Alumina Glass prism; the longer waves of energy travel quickly through whilst shorter wavelengths get held up and bend as a result - the light energy leaves the glass split according to its Wavelength. Physics and technology are objectivity rooted in the laws of physics. We’re just messing with that to make rainbows and manifest delight.
